Caddens is a newer suburb in the Penrith local government area, developed largely on land formerly held by Western Sydney University and now anchored by the Caddens Corner shopping precinct. It sits between Kingswood and Werrington, close to the university's Kingswood campus, Nepean Hospital and the Great Western Highway. As a recently released area, Caddens has a younger demographic than much of the surrounding region, and the legal questions tend to follow.
